The company seeks a Senior Manager for Campuses Operational HSE in Meyrin, CH. The role involves leading HSE operations across key sites, managing teams, ensuring compliance, and driving safety culture in a luxury goods environment.

This position provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities across Richemont's primary campuses. The role ensures that safety standards, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship are maintained while supporting critical sites with risk management and emergency preparedness.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and develop a team of internal HSE staff, external contractors, and occupational health nurses to deliver high-quality safety services across three main locations.
  • Maintain workplace safety standards for all employees and assets, ensuring alignment with Group security protocols and objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and monitor performance with third-party service providers to optimize return on investment.
  • Create and update mitigation strategies to address identified hazards and environmental impacts.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable HSE laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Investigate and document all incidents, near misses, and hazardous conditions, conducting thorough assessments.
  • Perform regular internal HSE self-assessments and review new processes or facility changes for ongoing compliance.
  • Manage HSE budgets and resource allocation to ensure efficient spending and measurable ROI.
  • Maintain a physical presence at the CGHH Meyrin and Villars-sur-Glâne campuses for at least two days per week at each site.
  • Collaborate with local authorities, professional organizations, and internal departments such as facilities, production, and HR.
  • Align HSE initiatives for critical sites with Richemont's broader strategic goals and Group directives.
  • Support critical sites in conducting risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify significant hazards.
  • Organize and lead team meetings, committees, and task forces to promote cross-functional alignment and best practice sharing.
  • Provide expert advice and training to site personnel and field HSE managers to foster a proactive safety culture.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the Group HSE function, evaluating new requirements and exploring innovative solutions.
  • Visit critical sites regularly to monitor program implementation, offer support, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist critical sites in developing and implementing emergency response plans and business continuity measures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related engineering discipline.
  • A recognized Swiss HSE certification, such as a Federal Diploma for Safety Specialist or OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 Lead Auditor qualification.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in HSE management, with a strong focus on operational safety and environmental compliance in complex, multi-site settings.
  • Fluency in French and English is mandatory.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the luxury goods sector, high-value asset environments, or similar industries with strict security and safety standards.
  • Proven track record of managing HSE operations across multiple locations, preferably in an international setting.
  • Proficiency in additional languages, such as German, is considered a strong advantage.
