International Compliance Risk Manager

Roger Dubuis seeks a Senior International Compliance Risk Manager in Meyrin to lead its compliance framework and support sustainability reporting under the Cartier group.

This position is accountable for the Maison’s Compliance Risk Framework, with the goal of reinforcing adherence to legal and regulatory standards. The role reports to the Cartier International Head of Risk and Compliance and also acts as the Finance Sustainability Lead, supporting the Cartier Sustainability team. It involves building governance structures, managing risk networks, and ensuring alignment with Group strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive Compliance Risk Management governance structure, engaging stakeholders across all functions and regions.
• Coordinate the Risk Network by developing strategies for communication, consultation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Deliver training sessions to ensure successful adoption of the Internal Risk Management (IRM) tool among stakeholders.
• Assess compliance and regulatory risks in collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Identify existing controls and procedures, and create new action plans to mitigate identified risks.
• Establish continuous monitoring processes to oversee the implementation of compliance strategies.
• Communicate and coordinate with Group Compliance to ensure strategic alignment.
• Maintain the Group IRM tool with relevant risks, actions, and outcomes.
• Develop Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and prepare regular reports.
• Support the non-financial reporting process by assisting with financial data collection and analysis for the Cartier Sustainability team.
• Respond to Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) certification and monitoring audits related to finance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
• Integrate RJC standards into Cartier’s compliance processes and control designs.
• Contribute to the annual ISO 20121 certification process for compliance-related matters.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in compliance and risk management, or in consulting activities.
• Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Law.
• Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements, and internal control frameworks.
• Strong history of effectively implementing and managing Risk Management frameworks.
• Fluent in multiple languages including mandatory spoken and written English.
