Jet Aviation seeks a Senior Captain for the Falcon 7X to lead flight operations with a focus on safety and service excellence, reporting directly to the Director of Flight Operations.
This position serves as the operational leader for Falcon 7X missions, ensuring that every flight meets the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and professionalism. The Captain acts as the primary representative of the company during operations, reporting directly to the Director of Flight Operations and overseeing all aspects of the aircraft's command.
Responsibilities
- Take full command of the aircraft, ensuring the safety of all crew, passengers, and cargo throughout the mission.
- Conduct all flights in strict compliance with company procedures, the Operations Manual, aviation regulations, and industry best practices.
- Verify that all crew members are correctly positioned at their stations before take-off, final approach, and landing.
- Prevent any crew member from performing non-essential duties during critical phases of flight.
- Ensure flight data and cockpit voice recorders remain active unless data preservation is required for an investigation.
- Coordinate crew duties to foster teamwork, situational awareness, and sound airmanship.
- Maintain precise navigation and adhere to all prescribed minimum altitudes and operational limits.
- Operate all aircraft systems according to the Falcon 7X Aircraft Flight Manual and company protocols.
- Enforce strict adherence to standard operating procedures and checklist discipline.
- Monitor fuel levels to guarantee sufficient reserves for the safe completion of the flight.
- Collaborate closely with cabin crew to meet all passenger safety and service needs.
- Complete and verify all flight documentation, including technical and flight logs.
- Submit required reports for any incidents, accidents, or operational occurrences.
- Stay current with aviation regulations, company procedures, and operational practices.
- Represent the company with the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and appearance.
- Ensure passengers receive appropriate safety briefings and understand emergency procedures and equipment.
Requirements
- Hold a valid ATPL with a current Dassault Falcon 7X type rating.
- Possess a minimum of 5,000 total flight hours.
- Have at least 500 hours of Pilot-in-Command experience on the Falcon 7X type.
- Hold a valid FAA, EASA, or UK-issued pilot licence.
- Maintain a current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
