Cash Manager

Gate Gourmet seeks a Senior Cash Manager in Zürich to lead global liquidity, cash pooling, and treasury operations with significant autonomy.

The company is looking for an experienced professional to serve as the operational lead for its global cash management function. This role provides substantial autonomy and end-to-end ownership over critical treasury activities, including cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, and banking relationships, ensuring the organization maintains efficient funding and optimal cash deployment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the global liquidity position to ensure optimal funding and efficient cash deployment across the organization.
• Provide strategic guidance on affiliate liquidity and cash concentration strategies.
• Drive initiatives to improve working capital, liquidity utilization, and overall cash efficiency.
• Review and validate short-term liquidity forecasts submitted by Group entities.
• Establish, govern, and continuously improve global cash pooling and liquidity management structures.
• Execute and supervise treasury operations, including intercompany funding and netting activities.
• Coordinate treasury cash flows and assist with accurate financial reporting and period-end tasks.
• Manage the global bank account portfolio, including maintenance and rationalization efforts.
• Maintain connectivity between SAP, the Treasury Management System (ITS), SWIFT/FIDES, and electronic banking platforms.
• Administer electronic banking users, mandates, and access rights in line with internal controls.
• Coordinate Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation and periodic bank reviews for all Group entities.
• Manage TMS operations and support treasury technology and system enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in Corporate Treasury, Cash Management, or Treasury Operations within a multinational environment.
• Proven experience managing enterprise-wide cash management and liquidity activities across multiple legal entities.
• Experience collaborating with global banking partners and working across Finance and other business functions.
• Fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Must hold a valid permit to work in Switzerland.

Nice to have

• Professional Treasury qualification such as ACT, CTP, or an equivalent certification.
• Knowledge of Power BI.
• Additional regional languages.
