Alentis Therapeutics SA seeks a Clinical Supply Manager in Allschwil to oversee global trial supply logistics, ensuring timely delivery and regulatory compliance for clinical studies.

This position is responsible for the end-to-end management and coordination of clinical trial supplies. The primary goal is to guarantee the efficient, on-time delivery of trial materials to support global studies and help the company achieve its key milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Create demand forecasts and supply plans by analyzing study protocols, clinical scenarios, and enrollment projections.
  • Design and execute supply strategies for trial medications and ancillary items, working closely with clinical and CMC teams.
  • Oversee the procurement of Standard of Care and ancillary supplies for clinical trials when necessary.
  • Lead packaging design efforts and manage blinding setups as required by the study.
  • Develop global distribution strategies, including the selection of appropriate depots.
  • Monitor trial medication inventory, track expiry dates, and coordinate re-supply needs with CMC.
  • Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) for IRT and EDC systems to ensure they meet study requirements.
  • Manage IRT systems for effective supply management and inventory tracking.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for labeling and packaging vendors, as well as clinical sites regarding supply matters.
  • Provide input on clinical documentation, such as the Clinical Monitoring Plan.
  • Lead vendor selection processes and prepare requests for proposals when applicable.
  • Maintain clear verbal and written communication with external vendors to ensure project timelines are met.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain or logistics within clinical trials.
  • Strong background in project management and leadership within Clinical Supply Management.
  • Solid understanding of GMP and GCP regulations, along with other relevant company-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with IRT and EDC systems, such as Medidata.
  • Ability to handle multiple studies simultaneously in a fast-paced biotech environment.
