The company seeks a Cloud Security Team Lead in Meyrin, CH, to guide a team in securing cloud infrastructure and fostering security best practices within a mature, full-cloud environment.
This position is responsible for heading the Cloud Security team under the Cloud Governance & Architecture pillar. The role focuses on protecting cloud infrastructure and code while promoting a strong culture of security awareness and adherence to best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Direct a group of 4-6 members, including internal staff and external partners, by setting a positive example.
- Define clear expectations and goals for each team member, conducting regular performance evaluations.
- Offer technical direction, mentorship, and ongoing support to the team.
- Oversee the team's backlog and align tasks with the strategic roadmap.
- Handle third-party vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with contracts and budget constraints.
- Drive the development and improvement of a comprehensive cloud security and DevSecOps solution stack.
- Advise engineering and project groups on applying security controls, guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Foster collaboration among product development, cybersecurity, and compliance departments.
- Support cloud security governance by managing frameworks, participating in committees, creating KPI dashboards, and promoting security awareness to other teams.
Requirements
- At least 4-6 years of experience working in cloud environments, with a demonstrated history of building and deploying effective cloud security solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud provider services, particularly AWS or GCP.
- Experience in establishing and managing security protocols throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong familiarity with OWASP TOP 10 and the OWASP Testing Guide.
- Understanding of data architecture, data protection strategies, and methods to mitigate data exfiltration risks for sensitive information (PII).
- Knowledge of container technologies, including Kubernetes, EKS, and ACK.
- Practical experience with Security Architecture, Automation, Configuration Management, Integration, Deployment, and Terraform.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience managing cloud security projects using agile methodologies.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Confluence and Jira.
- Fluent English proficiency and a good command of French.

- Cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Security.
