Cloud Solution Architect

isolutions seeks a Senior Cloud Solution Architect to design cloud-native systems and support technical teams. The role requires strong Azure and .NET expertise, excellent German and English skills, and a hybrid work setup in Switzerland.

This position focuses on creating modern cloud-native and hybrid architectures while actively participating in their implementation. The successful candidate will serve as a technical advisor for senior stakeholders and help drive cloud transformation journeys, all within a team culture that prioritizes open communication and continuous professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust architectural concepts and solution designs for complex cloud, integration, and custom software projects.
• Participate directly in development activities and write code as an active member of the engineering team.
• Provide technical guidance and sparring to CIOs, CTOs, IT Leads, and Product Owners.
• Advise clients on architecture decisions, strategic roadmaps, and their transition to cloud environments.
• Assist with presales efforts, proposal development, and ensure quality standards are met throughout all project phases.
• Mentor engineers, advocate for architectural best practices, and share knowledge across the organization.

Requirements

• A university degree or equivalent qualification in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Fluent proficiency in both German and English.
• Deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, .NET, microservices, middleware, IAM, containers, web technologies, and security.
• Minimum of three years of experience in designing concepts and architectures for distributed systems.
• A hands-on approach that values practical implementation alongside theoretical design.
• A strong interest in emerging technologies, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem and system integration.
• A customer-centric attitude focused on quickly understanding needs and delivering pragmatic technical solutions.
