Commercial Restaurant Manager 80-100%

IKEA AG Schweiz seeks a Commercial Restaurant Manager (80-100%) in Dietlikon to lead food retail operations, optimize commercial performance, and manage a high-performing team in a customer-facing environment.

This position focuses on the commercial side of IKEA Retail Food, aiming to create an inviting atmosphere and irresistible food offerings that encourage guests to return. The manager will optimize retail spaces, develop commercial initiatives, and enhance food competence to drive business success.

Responsibilities

• Implement the IKEA Food communication strategy within the store.
• Collaborate with the Kitchen Production Manager to optimize commercial performance and ensure operational excellence in customer and co-worker restaurants.
• Lead, develop, and empower a diverse, high-performing team to act with initiative.
• Maintain high standards for the customer restaurant, ensuring appealing food displays and effective implementation of commercial store planning solutions.
• Use communication to reinforce the values of low price, quality, and sustainability.
• Contribute to implementing global and national compliance standards to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.

Requirements

• Experience leading a multi-faceted, high-volume business and managing a team, preferably in a customer-facing role.
• Ability to work creatively within strong frameworks and demonstrate exceptional leadership in challenging situations.
• Skill in creating long-term action plans, managing budgets, and achieving commercial targets through effective marketing and sales actions.
• Passion for food and the drive to use strategic and tactical abilities to further develop the business.
• Customer-centric approach at all times.
• Fluent communication in German and English, both verbally and written.
