Forum Fribourg SA seeks a Community Engagement Specialist to support the World Economic Forum's autonomous systems initiatives in Geneva, focusing on stakeholder engagement and ecosystem coordination.
This position supports the Centre for Frontier Technologies and Innovation by helping leaders understand and shape the responsible development of robotics and embodied AI. The specialist coordinates activities that connect business leaders, government representatives, and researchers to drive action across sectors.
Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of projects related to robotics and autonomous systems, including workshops, publications, and executive communities.
- Foster growth and active participation among high-level networks of leaders, investors, and international organizations within the AI and robotics field.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external partners, ensuring consistent follow-up and tracking of community engagement.
- Track trends and developments in the robotics sector, identifying key players, technologies, and research institutions to inform strategic work.
- Contribute to thought leadership materials and executive briefings by providing ecosystem mapping and stakeholder insights.
- Collaborate with various teams across the organization to align and coordinate activities related to frontier technologies.
- Facilitate knowledge exchange and connect regional initiatives with the global portfolio through the Network of Centres for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
- Organize stakeholder engagement for major institutional events, ensuring effective preparation and post-event community activation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in robotics, engineering, technology policy, business administration, international relations, or a closely related discipline.
- At least three years of professional experience in programme management, stakeholder engagement, consulting, or ecosystem development, preferably within robotics or frontier technologies.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the global robotics and embodied AI landscape, including major companies, startups, and research bodies.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders from industry, government, academia, and international organizations.
- Proven ability to thrive in multicultural work environments.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Proficiency in additional languages beyond English.
