The Compliance Assistant supports the organization's compliance management framework by identifying risks within business activities and offering professional guidance. The position contributes to risk control efforts through contract reviews, sales project assessments, inspections, and awareness programs.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate contractual terms and business arrangements to pinpoint potential compliance risks and deliver professional review feedback.
- Assess sales projects for risks such as bribery, corruption, conflicts of interest, and other significant compliance concerns.
- Help with compliance inspections and risk assessments to spot control weaknesses and gaps in compliance.
- Contribute to creating training materials and case studies, and aid in delivering compliance training and awareness initiatives.
- Support responses to external inquiries and help manage compliance incidents.
- Maintain compliance policies, procedures, and documentation, organize regular compliance meetings, and monitor follow-up actions and pending issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Law or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal, compliance, internal control, audit, or similar areas.
- Comprehensive knowledge of compliance risk management and risk assessment methodologies.
- Strong familiarity with areas including anti-bribery and corruption, competition law, financial compliance, trade compliance, and third-party compliance management.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
- High level of responsibility, professionalism, and execution capability.
- Good written and spoken English skills.
