JayBee AG seeks a Compliance Specialist to advise financial intermediaries on regulatory matters within the crypto and FinTech sectors, based in Zug with hybrid work options.
As a key member of JayBee AG’s expanding team, this position places you at the forefront of the digital asset and FinTech evolution. The role focuses on strengthening regulatory frameworks for clients while contributing to the strategic growth of the consulting firm.
Responsibilities
- Providing expert guidance to financial intermediaries on legal, regulatory, and compliance issues.
- Assisting clients with the establishment of their corporate structures.
- Managing the full lifecycle of licensing applications, including preparation, submission, and liaison with authorities.
- Serving as the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Risk Officer for clients under outsourcing agreements.
- Deploying and configuring RegTech software solutions for client use.
- Creating, reviewing, and delivering training on internal policies and compliance procedures.
- Liaising directly with supervisory bodies to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Contributing strategic ideas to help shape the future direction and success of JayBee AG.
Requirements
- A university degree or equivalent higher education qualification in law and/or compliance.
- At least three years of relevant professional experience in the field.
- Preference for candidates with two or more years of hands-on experience in the Swiss financial sector.
- Solid understanding of Swiss financial market regulations, including AMLA, AMLO-FINMA, SRO Regulations, and CDB20.
- Business fluency in English.
- Valid entitlement to work in Switzerland; applications from non-EU/EFTA citizens will not be considered.
Nice to have
- Educational background obtained in Switzerland.
- Proficiency in a Swiss national language.
- Deep technical expertise in cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies.
- Prior experience in consulting or working within a law firm.
- Advanced skills in Artificial Intelligence and familiarity with RegTech tools.
