Generali Switzerland seeks a Cyber Security Architect in Adliswil to design secure solutions for cloud and on-premise systems while developing architectural expertise.
This position is designed for a curious professional ready to grow into security architecture. The role involves learning, contributing, and gradually taking ownership of security design across various platforms, applications, and infrastructure, allowing the candidate to build strong technical expertise while stepping into architectural responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in defining and implementing security architecture principles and standards
- Help design secure solutions for both cloud and on-premise environments
- Translate business and technical requirements into practical, scalable security solutions under guidance
- Participate in architecture reviews and basic threat modeling exercises
- Identify potential risks and support remediation activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to embed security into projects and transformations
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in cyber security, IT security, or infrastructure
- Interest or first exposure to security architecture or design
- Basic to intermediate understanding of key security areas such as Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Basic to intermediate understanding of Network security / foundations of Zero Trust concepts
- Basic to intermediate understanding of Application or API security
- Basic to intermediate understanding of Data protection fundamentals
- Strong willingness to learn, develop, and grow into an architecture role
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders (with support where needed)
Nice to have
- Initial experience with cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure) is a plus
- Awareness of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS) is a plus, not a requirement
