Lead Cyber Security Architect

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a Lead Cyber Security Architect in Zürich to define and implement the IT and data security strategy for a global financial platform.

This position is responsible for shaping and executing the comprehensive IT and data security strategy for a major global financial platform. The role drives the evolution of group-wide security services and ensures robust operational resilience through strategic governance and technical oversight.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement the IT and data security strategy, including governance frameworks and roadmaps.
• Manage secure platform operations, covering IAM, SOC, CIS standards, and incident response protocols.
• Maintain service availability via business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and data protection measures.
• Work with management, IT teams, and stakeholders to enhance security postures.
• Design and deploy security initiatives alongside group risk management and the IT board.
• Ensure adherence to risk management specifications within the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
• Report on digital operational resilience, including KPI and KRI data.
• Coordinate with external experts for security testing, assessments, and monitoring.

Requirements

• Ongoing education in security or certifications like CISM, CISA, CRISC, or CISSP.
• Strong understanding of the CIS Control Framework.
• Experience with modern cloud, security infrastructures, platforms, and SaaS solutions.
• Extensive professional background and current knowledge in information and cyber security.
• Fluency in English and German for daily operations.
