Cyber Security Architect (m/f/d)

E-GENERALI seeks a Cyber Security Architect to help define security standards and design secure solutions for cloud and on-premise systems. This mid-level role focuses on learning, contributing, and taking ownership of security architecture.

This position is designed for a motivated professional who wants to transition into architecture responsibilities while deepening their technical expertise. The successful candidate will learn, contribute, and progressively take ownership of security design across various platforms, applications, and infrastructure, making a tangible impact on the organization's security landscape.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing and applying security architecture principles and standards.
• Help design secure solutions for both cloud-based and on-premise environments.
• Convert business and technical requirements into practical, scalable security measures.
• Join architecture review processes and perform basic threat modeling exercises.
• Spot potential risks and aid in remediation efforts.
• Work with stakeholders and project teams to integrate security into ongoing projects and transformations.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in cyber security, IT security, or infrastructure.
• Demonstrated interest or initial exposure to security architecture or design.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Basic to intermediate understanding of Network security and Zero Trust foundations.
• Basic to intermediate familiarity with Application or API security.
• Basic to intermediate grasp of Data protection fundamentals.
• Strong drive to learn, develop, and grow into an architecture role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Initial experience with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Awareness of security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.
