Data Analyst

Vintory GmbH seeks a Mid-level Data Analyst to manage and expand real estate property owner databases for marketing purposes, working remotely.

The company is looking for a Data Analyst to oversee the creation and maintenance of real estate data used for marketing lists. This position focuses on building a robust database of property owner target lists by identifying new data sources through scraping and public records, ensuring the information remains accurate and useful for clients.

Responsibilities

• Partner with developers and account managers to design workflows for sourcing, cleaning, and analyzing data.
• Gather information by downloading files, scraping websites, or requesting public records from municipalities.
• Standardize and integrate various data sets, while identifying and correcting errors, gaps, or inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with the development team to create data processing tools.
• Manipulate raw CSV and Excel files to support marketing output processes.
• Edit, match, and de-duplicate address lists to ensure data quality.
• Investigate and resolve inaccuracies within property data records.
• Conduct independent online research to discover new data sources related to short-term rental properties.

Requirements

• Demonstrated programming skills in scripting languages like SQL or Python.
• Proficiency in using Excel, Google Sheets, or comparable spreadsheet applications.
• High attention to detail and precision in work.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• Prior experience using SQL queries or tools for data segmentation and de-duplication.
• Background in Python scripting or website scraping techniques.
