The company seeks a Data Leakage Prevention Specialist in Zurich to assess alerts, guide remediation, and enhance global DLP frameworks within the Group CISO & Technology Risk Control function.
This position sits within the Group CISO & Technology Risk Control function of the CRO division. The specialist will focus on detecting potential data leaks, supporting staff through corrective measures, and refining the organization's DLP framework. The role requires close collaboration with international teams to ensure consistent security practices across all locations.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate DLP alerts to determine if data leaks have occurred, then work with staff to correct issues and promote secure handling habits.
- Analyze alert data to spot trends and anomalies, creating KPIs and KRIs that improve risk oversight.
- Suggest improvements to DLP processes and playbooks to boost operational efficiency.
- Interpret DLP policies and help refine them based on risk assessments and business needs, aiming to improve detection accuracy while minimizing disruption.
- Share insights with global teams to encourage collaboration and consistent DLP practices.
Requirements
- Solid grasp of banking operations, client workflows, and data flows, particularly regarding DLP risks.
- Practical experience in security monitoring or incident management, with a preference for background in DLP tools or similar security technologies.
- Strong communication skills to explain incidents to non-technical staff and guide them toward secure behaviors.
- Background in information security, risk management, compliance, data protection, or audit, ideally within the financial sector and familiar with regulatory standards.
- Strong analytical abilities to identify patterns, anomalies, and risk indicators in data.
- Degree in Business Administration, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with analytics or visualization software.
- Relevant industry certifications.
- Fluency in German, French, or Italian.
