This fixed-term position serves as a maternity cover until the end of March 2027, placing the specialist at the core of Baer AG's strategic transformation. The role focuses on establishing data-centricity and requires close collaboration with front office, IT, and compliance teams to embed data management practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee data management initiatives throughout the maternity cover period.
- Develop and track data management standards and operational processes.
- Create and monitor bank-wide standards for data products.
- Partner with front office units and support functions including legal, compliance, finance, operations, Enterprise Architecture, and IT.
- Design and co-create business data models aligned with corporate, industry, and architectural guidelines.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent, ideally in science, business informatics, banking, or finance.
- Proven experience in metadata management, data dictionaries, information architecture, data lineage, reference data, and business glossaries.
- Background in the financial or banking sector.
- Familiarity with data modeling and management tools such as data dictionaries and lineage platforms.
- Strong collaboration and influencing abilities to build effective stakeholder networks across divisions and regions.
- Willingness to challenge existing practices and manage escalations at all levels.
