Data Management Training Specialist

Sika AG seeks an Associate Data Management Training Specialist in Zürich to design training concepts and facilitate adoption of PIM systems across the organization.

This position is responsible for creating and implementing a structured communication and training strategy to drive the adoption of Product Information Management (PIM) systems. The role focuses on empowering corporate users, data specialists, and stakeholders to utilize these tools effectively while adhering to governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and upkeep a comprehensive training framework for PIM, data management, and system usage.
• Build role-specific learning resources tailored to various data functions, including creators, stewards, and approvers.
• Conduct training sessions using diverse formats to ensure knowledge transfer and system adoption.
• Collaborate with PIM project coordination, product data management, governance teams, IT, and business stakeholders to align training content.
• Regularly revise and update educational materials in response to system updates, process changes, and user feedback.
• Establish role-based curricula and learning paths for different PIM user groups in line with governance requirements.
• Organize and lead onboarding, refresher, and update training sessions to promote efficient and compliant system usage.

Requirements

• Background in designing and maintaining training frameworks for PIM systems, data management, and product data governance.
• Demonstrated capability to develop role-specific training materials for various data positions.
• Experience delivering instruction through multiple channels, such as live classroom sessions, virtual workshops, and self-paced learning modules.
• Ability to continuously refine training content based on system modifications, process adjustments, and user input.
• Strong skills in communication, facilitation, and documentation.
• Initial exposure to PIM topics or a solid grasp of PIM governance rules, data quality principles, workflows, and approval processes.
