Responsibilities

• Oversee the testing and validation of prototypes to convert early warning processes into scalable digital solutions.
• Establish scientific partnerships that align research, technology, and business objectives to safeguard public health.
• Execute project tasks with precision and accountability to inform critical food safety decisions.

Requirements

• Foundational chemistry knowledge and a solid grasp of chemical contaminants, including their emergence, evolution, and impact on food safety.
• Understanding of food safety and quality procedures within supply chains, incident management, issue progression, and potential consumer effects.
• Ability to apply data and digital technologies in food safety contexts, preferably to aid data-driven risk assessment, root-cause analysis, and early warning decision-making.
• Capacity to work effectively with diverse internal and external partners, translating research into practical business impact.
• Fluent English communication skills.
