Lab Analytical Scientist

Pharmacie de la Place du Cirque SA seeks a Mid-level Lab Analytical Scientist in Switzerland to lead physical and chemical testing, ensure GMP compliance, and drive method validation.

This position serves as a Subject Matter Expert for physical and chemical analytical techniques within the Analytical Science team. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating project tasks, driving technical innovation, and ensuring the highest standards of scientific understanding and best practices are maintained across laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary expert for physical and chemical analytical methods.
• Coordinate project activities and workflows for the Analytical Science group.
• Design, perform, and interpret experiments using physical and chemical techniques.
• Develop and review validation protocols, transfer procedures, and technical reports.
• Analyze scientific data to generate accurate conclusions and high-quality information.
• Communicate findings effectively to both internal team members and external customers.
• Provide troubleshooting assistance and training on analytical instruments and methods.
• Lead laboratory investigations, manage change requests, and implement CAPA measures.
• Collaborate on optimizing laboratory processes and applying corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Professional experience within the pharmaceutical sector, specifically in GMP environments.
• Hands-on experience with method transfer and validation processes.
• Fluent business-level proficiency in English.
• Practical knowledge of LIMS, Trackwise, and DMS software tools.
• Availability to work full-time on-site at the Swiss location.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Working knowledge of the German language.
