The company is seeking a Laboratory Associate for Commercial Quality Control in Basel, Switzerland. The position involves performing analytical testing for batch release and stability studies of drug products under cGMP regulations.
Based in Basel Stücki, this role supports the DPS Commercial QC team by conducting analytical testing for drug product batch release and stability studies. The associate ensures compliance with cGMP standards while maintaining laboratory operations and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine laboratory tasks such as preparing mobile phases, calibrating pH meters, and verifying balance accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following 6S principles and cGMP standards to ensure audit readiness.
- Execute analytical testing for batch release and stability studies in accordance with cGMP and standard operating procedures.
- Record assay results according to Good Documentation Practices and report any relevant observations to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Completion of lab technician training (e.g., EFZ, CTA) or a BSc in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of cGMP, GDocP, and Data Integrity principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in a GMP-regulated QC laboratory.
- Familiarity with HPLC, CE-SDS, icIEF, or ELISA techniques.
