Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction in food chemistry and analytical techniques, emphasizing data-driven strategies and digital tools.
- Establish and expand a research portfolio funded by external sources, integrating food chemistry with data science.
- Partner with industry stakeholders to incorporate practical challenges into degree programs and support applied research initiatives.
- Encourage students and staff to adopt digital mindsets within conventional food science fields.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Food Chemistry, Analytical Food Science, or a closely related discipline.
- Specialization in food analytics, process-induced chemical changes, and contemporary analytical methods.
- Practical background in analytical laboratory work and data analysis.
- Experience in industrial research and development as well as project management.
- Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring students in applied sciences within practice-oriented settings.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work well within teams.
- Fluency in English.
