The company is looking for a professional to manage the full lifecycle of documentary credit transactions for an assigned client portfolio. This position involves executing instructions accurately, advising clients and internal teams on technical matters, and ensuring clear communication regarding any changes to customer positions.
Responsibilities
- Process and execute all documentary credit transactions and instruments for the assigned client portfolio.
- Ensure timely and accurate handling of instructions from customers and correspondent banks.
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients, Relationship Managers, and colleagues in the Financial Institutions department.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers alongside Relationship Managers.
- Communicate promptly with Relationship Managers about any changes to customer positions resulting from documentary transactions.
Requirements
- Completion of mandatory or secondary school education, such as a CFC banking diploma or Maturity certificate.
- Minimum of three years of experience in documentary credits within a bank specializing in Commodity Trade Finance.
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of documentary transactions.
- Familiarity with the relevant rules and regulations in this sector.
- Excellent communication abilities with fluency in both French and English, written and spoken.
