Evatec seeks a Junior Electrician or Automation Technician to handle equipment testing, assembly, and maintenance in Switzerland. This onsite role focuses on ensuring system reliability and supporting production teams.
This position is responsible for the smooth operation of electrical and automated systems through installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The technician collaborates with various departments to ensure safe, reliable operations that meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct full functional tests on production machinery
- Diagnose problems, determine root causes, and apply corrective measures
- Assist in assembling production equipment using electrical expertise
- Collaborate with product and application teams to test coating processes
- Partner with engineering, R&D, and production staff to develop practical technical solutions
Requirements
- Completion of an apprenticeship as an Automation Technician, Electrician, or equivalent technical training
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications
- Ability to communicate in basic English
- Strong reliability, independence, and quick comprehension of technical concepts
