Engineer Technical Operations, Data Support

CTC Resourcing Solutions AG seeks a Junior Data Support Engineer in Bern for an 8-month onsite contract. The role supports Manufacturing Science & Technology and Validation teams within a pharmaceutical setting.

This position serves as a Data Support Engineer embedded within a major pharmaceutical organization. The primary purpose is to assist the Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) and Validation departments with data-related tasks, ensuring accurate analysis and compliant documentation over an initial eight-month engagement that may be extended.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and validate STATISTICA workspaces to enable automated data evaluation from LIMS and MES sources.
• Ensure the integrity of data and the accuracy of analytical results.
• Manage document archiving processes, including organizing materials and transferring them to the Scan Competence Center.
• Facilitate MS&T and Validation projects by handling data extraction, processing, analysis, reporting, and sample management.
• Revise and keep current standard operating procedures, work instructions, forms, and other controlled documents for the relevant departments.

Requirements

• Hold Swiss or EU citizenship, or possess a valid working and residency permit for Switzerland.
• Possess a science degree (such as a Bachelor, Master, or PhD in pharmacy, pharmaceutical technology, biology, or chemistry) or equivalent education, or have several years of relevant industry experience.
• Have between zero and three years of professional job experience.
• Demonstrate fluent proficiency in both English and German.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environments.
