Fees specialist

Union Bancaire Privée seeks a Fees Specialist in Geneva to manage fee schedules, exceptions, and billing within the Operations department, supporting Front Office and Wealth Management teams.

This position sits within the Fees team of UBP’s Operations department. The role involves supporting the Front Office and collaborating with Asset and Wealth Management divisions in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain group-wise base fee schedules.
• Set up, modify, and manage fee exceptions for clients.
• Handle fee exceptions for brokers and other internal counterparties.
• Follow up on pending fee setups or requests.
• Provide daily support to internal clients, including Front Office, WM Business leads, Finance, and other Operations teams.
• Prepare and manage quarterly fee billing, including handling manual billing exceptions.
• Participate in repricing initiatives and support WM leads on fee opportunities.
• Contribute to other projects affecting the Fees team.
• Review the existing control framework to identify procedural loopholes or enhancement opportunities and propose mitigations.
• Support audit requests in coordination with the team’s supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• Fluency in French and English is mandatory.
• Swiss residence is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of market finance, including financial instruments, trading, reconciliation flows, and custody chain.
• Additional languages are a plus.
• Skills in VBA, Python, or R are advantageous.
