The Forensic & Integrity Services department at Ernst & Young AG is expanding its Lugano team. This role supports organizations in preventing and addressing integrity issues such as fraud, bribery, and corruption. The position also assists clients and legal counsel in investigating facts, resolving disputes, and navigating regulatory challenges.

Responsibilities

• Investigate misconduct like fraud, bribery, corruption, and money laundering for clients across various industries.
• Analyze financial data, conduct background research, perform interviews, review documents using technology, and produce fact-based reports.
• Design and implement compliance and anti-fraud management systems.
• Develop guidelines, codes of conduct, and communication strategies for anti-fraud and compliance.
• Conduct third-party due diligence and integrity checks.
• Perform compliance risk assessments.
• Conduct live compliance monitoring.
• Collaborate with clients, fraud investigators, auditors, forensic technology experts, lawyers, and regulatory authorities in sensitive situations.
• Prepare client presentations, status updates, and documentation materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian, English, and either German or French.

Nice to have

• Prior work experience in audit, accounting/controlling, compliance, and/or risk management is considered a plus.
• Any additional language is considered a plus.
