Enzianlabs seeks a Founding-level Full-Stack Engineer in Zürich to build AI-driven ventures. This senior role offers equity, a competitive salary, and the opportunity to shape technical strategy.
This position serves as a founding-level engineering role with the potential to evolve into a CTO capacity for upcoming ventures. The engineer will collaborate closely with the team to rapidly transform ideas into functional systems, validate concepts through MVPs, and determine viable product directions. The individual will hold full ownership of technical choices, spanning architecture to deployment, and may assume leadership duties as the portfolio companies develop.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop sophisticated software solutions that leverage AI workflows.
- Construct and launch robust applications that extend well beyond initial prototypes.
- Apply strict standards to enhance both the final product and the underlying AI agents.
- Collaborate with founders to prioritize initiatives and identify features to exclude.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a product-focused mindset that prioritizes user problem-solving over the adoption of trendy frameworks.
- Be proficient in navigating the entire stack, with particular strength in either frontend refinement or backend architecture.
- Act as an independent initiator who performs well in ambiguous environments and begins development without waiting for exhaustive specifications.
- Communicate technical trade-offs clearly to stakeholders without a technical background.
- Reside in Switzerland or be prepared to relocate, while holding Swiss, EU, or EFTA citizenship, or possessing a valid Swiss C-Permit.
- Possess proven experience in developing applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Have hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, serverless functions, Server-Sent Events (SSE), and edge computing.
- Provide a portfolio link showcasing a live application, a GitHub repository, or a detailed analysis of an AI product.
