Franke seeks a Global Internal Auditor based in Aarburg, Switzerland, to conduct financial and operational audits across its international units, optimizing business processes and strengthening internal controls.
This hands-on position is located at the company's head office in Aarburg and provides significant exposure to operating units and senior management. The role concentrates on financial and operational audit topics to help local entities improve their business operations and processes.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute internal audits, including data analysis during preparation and fieldwork at global locations or the headquarters.
- Deliver clear, action-oriented reports and presentations that highlight root causes, risks, and opportunities.
- Independently evaluate and enhance risk management, internal controls, and governance processes during on-site assignments, supporting the Audit Committee.
- Advise legal entities and functional areas on internal control systems, risk assessment, and business improvement, collaborating with local leadership and central functions.
- Coach and supervise less experienced auditors, guest auditors, and internal or external team members.
- Manage the follow-up process to verify that implemented actions address identified observations and recommendations.
Requirements
- University degree in a field relevant to manufacturing and trading industries.
- At least two years of professional experience in external or internal audit roles.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% of the time, including flexibility for weekend work.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one additional language, preferably German, Italian, or Spanish.

- Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, Six Sigma, or expertise in SAP.
