Avolta seeks a Global Internal Reporting Manager in Basel to lead internal reporting, drive automation, and train the finance team, with relocation to Zurich expected in 2027.
This position serves as the central point for all internal financial reporting and acts as a bridge between reporting and controlling functions. The manager will prepare data for senior leadership, define system requirements, and lead training initiatives to enhance the global finance team's capabilities. The role reports directly to the Vice President of Global Reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end process for internal reports, including materials for the CEO, CFO, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Create and deliver training sessions for finance staff on how to effectively use reporting tools.
- Compile and prepare data sets in response to specific requests from senior management.
- Collaborate closely with reporting and controlling departments to align on needs and improve processes.
- Implement automation and self-service features to streamline reporting workflows.
- Gather requirements for financial information across the organization to support the ongoing enhancement of global finance systems.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance or Administration.
- At least three years of professional experience in internal reporting.
- Deep knowledge of finance system architecture, specifically SAP.
- Proven ability to analyze data and communicate clearly.
- Strong grasp of consolidation procedures within large, multinational organizations.
Nice to have
- Prior experience with SAP Group Reporting is preferred.
