Michael Page seeks a Senior Global Launch Execution Manager in Zug to coordinate cross-functional product launches and lifecycle initiatives within the global supply chain.
This position serves as the central hub for a expanding portfolio of product launches and lifecycle projects within the Global Supply Chain team. The incumbent acts as the primary liaison between Supply Chain, Commercial, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and Planning departments to ensure seamless execution.
Responsibilities
- Orchestrate launch execution and lifecycle management tasks across various cross-functional groups.
- Create and oversee integrated launch schedules, ensuring all milestones, deliverables, and dependencies are clearly defined and actively tracked.
- Assess launch readiness and proactively spot risks, supply limitations, regulatory hurdles, and operational bottlenecks.
- Resolve issues by engaging stakeholders effectively and escalating critical risks in a timely manner.
- Develop governance documents, executive summaries, launch-readiness dashboards, and management presentations.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Manufacturing, Distribution, Finance, and S&OP teams to guarantee successful market entries and lifecycle adjustments.
- Monitor KPIs, decisions, assumptions, and lessons learned to enhance launch excellence and drive continuous improvement.
- Help build scalable launch management processes, templates, and best practices throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Product Lifecycle Management, Launch Excellence, Project Management, Manufacturing Operations, or similar areas.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Solid understanding of product launches, lifecycle management, supply planning, and operational readiness.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to influence without direct authority.
- Strong analytical skills to translate complex data into concise executive-level updates.
- Experience using ERP and planning tools like SAP, Oracle, Smartsheet, Power BI, or equivalent systems.
Nice to have
- APICS, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma certifications.
- Background in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or other regulated industries.
