Michael Page is recruiting a Supply Planner for a leading international healthcare and medical technology firm in Nyon, Switzerland. This fixed-term role focuses on managing complex EMEA supply chain operations.
This position sits within a prominent global healthcare and medical technology organization that maintains extensive manufacturing and distribution networks. The role provides valuable exposure to the intricacies of the EMEA supply chain, allowing the incumbent to manage critical planning activities across a diverse product portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Create and update supply plans for designated product lines.
- Convert demand forecasts, capacity limits, and lead times into practical replenishment strategies.
- Oversee the release of planned orders, stock transfers, and deployment tasks.
- Control inventory levels, safety stock, and overall inventory health metrics.
- Track backorders, service level performance, and order fulfillment rates.
- Assist in allocation decisions when supply is limited.
- Take part in Supply Reviews and contribute to regional S&OP processes.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, quality, and global planning teams to solve supply issues.
- Assist with new product launches, product changes, and phase-out activities.
- Keep planning master data accurate, including lead times, lot sizes, and planning parameters.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance service levels and lower inventory risk.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in Supply Planning, Replenishment Planning, or Inventory Planning within an international setting.
- Solid grasp of MRP, deployment, and inventory management principles.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and planning systems.
- Fluent proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
