This position transforms how the organization handles sustainability inquiries by shifting from reactive responses to a structured, insight-driven model. The role ensures the company systematically anticipates and addresses customer and stakeholder expectations, aligning market insights with strategic business goals.

Responsibilities

• Collect and organize sustainability requirements and emerging topics from key stakeholders and clients.
• Spot trends and early signals that impact market access, competitiveness, and organizational risk.
• Keep track of sustainability issues gaining importance in the market and among stakeholders.
• Create and refine a systematic process for handling sustainability-related requests.
• Establish clear workflows for intake, coordination, prioritization, escalation, and response.
• Foster collaboration across departments including Sustainability, Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Legal.
• Build guidance, tools, and frameworks to address recurring sustainability topics.
• Support proactive strategies for meeting future customer needs and sustainability expectations.
• Ensure consistent sustainability messaging across different regions and business units.
• Convert market insights into inputs for strategy, materiality assessments, and portfolio development.
• Provide objective analysis on evolving stakeholder expectations and their business impact.
• Serve as a liaison between the Sustainability team and customer-facing functions.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in sustainability, strategy, market engagement, or related business areas.
• Deep knowledge of sustainability topics relevant to industrial and energy markets.
• Demonstrated success working across functions and regions in complex global organizations.
• Ability to structure unstructured data and turn it into actionable insights.
• Strong skills in facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and communication.
