Group FP&A Lead

Galderma seeks a Group FP&A Lead in Zug to direct short-term planning, lead the finance team, and drive AI-driven process improvements for strategic decision-making.

This position sits within the Group Financial Planning and Analysis team, taking full ownership of short-term planning cycles while providing senior leadership with forward-looking insights. The role is pivotal for supporting strategic decisions and resource allocation at the group level, with a specific mandate to transform the FP&A function through process optimization and the integration of AI-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the short-term planning cycle, covering Group Latest Outlook and Annual Budgeting.
  • Streamline and standardize planning workflows to enhance efficiency, transparency, and data quality.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to oversee the financial aspects of Short-Term Incentive schemes.
  • Serve as the project manager for artificial intelligence projects within the FP&A department.
  • Prepare materials for the Board of Directors and lead Executive Committee reporting.
  • Act as the primary liaison with Investor Relations, Strategy, and Communications departments.
  • Deliver continuous and ad hoc analysis regarding financial and operational performance.
  • Spearhead cross-functional projects and broader finance transformation efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 15 to 20+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis.
  • Extensive background in group planning, forecasting, and performance management within multinational settings.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring high-performing finance teams.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and advanced Excel skills for financial modeling.
  • Proficiency with planning or Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Deep understanding of financial statements and planning processes.
  • Fluent English proficiency.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree or professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA.
  • Experience in pharma, healthcare, consumer, or aesthetics industries.
  • Experience in driving finance transformation, process optimization, or digital initiatives.
  • Additional languages beyond English.
