OTIS SA seeks an FP&A Manager for a full-time, onsite role in Switzerland. The position involves leading financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic business decisions across operations and commercial teams.
The FP&A Manager leads financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis for Otis Switzerland, acting as a strategic partner to operational and commercial teams. The role supports performance, profitability, and long-term growth through data-driven insights, risk identification, and business understanding.
Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, collaborating with regional, sales, service, and operations teams.
- Consolidate financial plans and conduct scenario analyses to assist management in decision-making.
- Track key financial indicators such as revenue, margin, OPEX, and working capital, delivering insights to senior leadership.
- Produce monthly performance reports, dashboards, and variance analyses against budget and forecast.
- Work with commercial, service, and operations leaders to assess business performance and support initiatives like pricing, cost reduction, or capital investments.
- Contribute financial analysis to business cases, tenders, and investment proposals, including modernization, new installations, or M&A activities.
- Support cash flow, collections, and project-related working capital forecasting and monitoring.
- Analyze billing, collections, and inventory trends to enhance capital efficiency.
- Improve FP&A tools, models, and processes to ensure accuracy and scalability of financial insights.
- Collaborate with IT and Controlling to optimize data flow and reporting systems, including ERP and BI tools.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, group policies, and financial reporting standards.
- Assist with audits and internal reviews related to financial planning and forecasting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Extensive accounting experience with knowledge of construction accounting, including job costing, percentage of completion, and project-based financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with business partners and departments across Otis Switzerland.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of French and/or Italian is beneficial.
