Head, Education, Skills and Learning, Centre for The New Economy and Society

Forum Fribourg SA seeks a senior leader to direct the Education, Skills and Learning portfolio within its Centre for the New Economy and Society, based in Geneva.

This position leads the thematic portfolio focused on Education, Skills and Learning within the Centre for the New Economy and Society. As a member of the Centre’s leadership team, the incumbent helps shape the broader socio-economic agenda. The Centre’s mission is to assist leaders in understanding, designing, and executing systems that generate economic opportunities for everyone.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the team’s strategy to achieve significant systems change.
• Partner with key stakeholders from business, government, academia, and civil society.
• Monitor and report on internal and external metrics to ensure impact and engagement goals are met.
• Design and execute mission workplans using the Forum’s impact methodologies.
• Oversee the team’s financial and human resources, including managing grants and partnerships.
• Represent the Centre at senior levels both internally and externally.
• Lead the thematic team and collaborate with heads of functional practices.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree in public policy, economics, business, social sciences, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of relevant professional experience.
• Deep expertise in the education, skills, and learning agenda.
• Fluent proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Background in management consulting or international organizations.
• Demonstrated success in producing thought leadership content.
• Ability to communicate in languages other than English.
