Head of Group Insurance

Roger Dubuis seeks a Head of Group Insurance to lead strategic non-life insurance and risk management for the global organization, reporting to the Group Treasurer.

This senior leadership position combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, serving as a key business partner to executive stakeholders. The role is responsible for shaping the Group’s non-life insurance and risk strategy while providing pragmatic commercial advice to senior leaders. Reporting directly to the Group Treasurer and sitting within the Treasury & Risk Leadership Team, the incumbent will drive innovation through data, technology, and process improvements to enhance the overall effectiveness of the insurance function.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the Group’s non-life insurance and risk management strategy.
• Collaborate with senior executives to deliver practical, commercially sound insurance guidance.
• Oversee the design, placement, and governance of the Group’s non-life insurance programs.
• Drive process improvements by integrating automation, AI, and other technological advancements.
• Leverage data analytics and technology to increase the efficiency and impact of the insurance department.
• Advise the Group Treasurer on emerging risks and shifts in the insurance market landscape.
• Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing global team dedicated to insurance operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Law.
• At least 15 years of professional experience in corporate insurance.
• Deep expertise in global insurance markets, international insurance programs, and captive structures.
• Fluent proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• A career background that includes both in-house corporate roles and experience with brokers or consultancies.
• Prior service on a captive insurance board.
