Head of Group Insurance

Richemont seeks a Director to lead its global non-life insurance strategy, combining high-level oversight with hands-on execution for a prestigious luxury group.

This position serves as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing pragmatic advice on risk and insurance matters. Reporting directly to the Group Treasurer within the Treasury & Risk Leadership Team, the role demands a blend of visionary direction and practical implementation to safeguard the organization's assets.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the corporate strategy for non-life insurance and risk management.
• Collaborate with executive leaders to deliver practical, business-focused insurance solutions.
• Oversee the creation, placement, and ongoing governance of the group’s insurance programs.
• Drive innovation by integrating automation and artificial intelligence into insurance processes.
• Improve operational efficiency through data-driven insights, technological upgrades, and process optimization.
• Advise the Group Treasurer on new risk trends and shifts in the insurance market.
• Mentor, guide, and motivate a high-caliber global team to achieve top performance.

Requirements

• A university degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Law.
• At least 15 years of professional experience in corporate insurance.
• Deep expertise in international insurance markets, global programs, and captive structures.
• Fluent proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• A career background that mixes in-house corporate roles with external broker or consultancy experience.
• Prior service on a captive insurance board.
