Head of SAP Services

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a Director-level Head of SAP Services in Winterthur to lead the SAP landscape, drive S/4HANA transformation, and manage a diverse team in a hybrid role.

The company is looking for an experienced leader to take full ownership of the SAP environment, including its daily operations, strategic roadmap, and ongoing enhancements. This position serves as the primary delivery lead for projects, change requests, and support activities, while guiding the organization through its S/4HANA transition and ensuring adherence to ERP best practices.

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor a varied SAP team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Oversee the entire SAP ecosystem, managing operational stability, strategic planning, and continuous system improvements.
• Serve as the main delivery lead for all projects, change requests, and support-related issues.
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with business units and IT leadership.
• Steer the S/4HANA migration process and advocate for industry-standard ERP methodologies.
• Handle vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and budget management for SAP-related services.

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership experience in SAP environments, including at least five years of team management.
• Extensive knowledge of core SAP modules, with preferred certification in FI, CO, MM, SD, or PP.
• Practical background in implementing S/4HANA and leading SAP transformation initiatives.
• Strong ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate effectively within global teams.
• Fluent proficiency in both English and German.
