Head of Supply Chain Performance Management

ABB Power Grids seeks a Head of Supply Chain Performance Management in Zürich to lead global performance frameworks, analytics, and stakeholder engagement across Procurement and Logistics.

This position serves as a strategic business partner and trusted expert for senior Supply Chain leadership, including the Chief Procurement Officer. The role integrates financial and operational insights, governance, and advanced analytics to drive continuous improvement and transparency across Procurement, Trade, Transport, and Logistics functions.

Responsibilities

• Direct and refine the global performance management strategy for Procurement, Trade, Transport, and Logistics.
• Serve as a Finance Business Partner and subject matter expert to the Chief Procurement Officer and senior SCM executives.
• Establish and sustain a comprehensive performance framework that includes KPIs, target setting, reporting, analytics, and decision support.
• Create and uphold global standards, governance rules, guidelines, KPI definitions, and training resources for performance management.
• Advance metrics and dashboards to ensure strategic, operational, and financial visibility across the Supply Chain.
• Promote the use of advanced analytics, data science, and AI to enhance business insights and strategic decision-making.
• Manage, develop, and engage a global network of performance professionals, process specialists, and data analysts.
• As a people manager, ensure adherence to all relevant internal and external regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or Performance Management within a global, matrixed environment.
• Solid grasp of sourcing, procurement, logistics, and end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Extensive knowledge of performance management, KPI governance, data analytics, BI platforms, and emerging AI tools.
• Capacity to convert complex data into actionable insights and influence senior leadership decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and business partnering abilities across functions, regions, and cultures.
• Leadership mindset capable of driving transformation, building capability, and fostering collaboration among diverse teams.
