Head of Trade Commodity Finance - 100 % (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

• Set the long-term strategic vision for the CTF business.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Oversee and ensure the smooth execution of CTF transactions on a day-to-day basis.
• Oversee correspondent banking network development and counterparty relationship management.
• Work closely with Risk Management teams to ensure a healthy risk profile and compliance.
• Build and lead a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as compliance, operations, legal, and other departments.
• Regularly report on the performance and activities of the CTF business to the Executive Board and Board of Directors.
• Represent the Bank in industry events, conferences, and forums.
• Review and ensure governing documents related to CTF are up to a high standard.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of hands-on experience in CTF.
• Proven track record in established, larger financial institutions and boutique banks.
• Substantial Profit and Loss (PNL) responsibility.
• In-depth knowledge of the entire front-to-back process of a CTF transaction.
• Experience dealing with Soft, Metals, and/or Energy products in the Commodity Trade Finance domain.
• Demonstrated experience in managing teams.
