Alpiq AG seeks an HR Manager in Lausanne to cover a maternity leave. The role involves managing full-cycle HR operations for Swiss staff, requiring fluency in English and French, plus strong knowledge of Swiss labor law.
This position serves as a temporary cover for an upcoming maternity leave, ensuring that the HR team maintains high-quality support and operational continuity. The incumbent will act as a trusted advisor to both managers and employees, helping to navigate the employee lifecycle and supporting broader organizational change initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute core HR functions for Swiss-based staff, including recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, personnel administration, and internal communications.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees throughout all stages of the employment journey.
- Gather insights on business needs and employee sentiment to inform the wider HR team.
- Facilitate and prioritize change management processes within the organization.
- Contribute to global HR initiatives and assist in adapting global processes for the local Swiss context.
- Support the company through various organizational change efforts.
Requirements
- A university degree, Federal Certificate in Human Resources Management, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least five years of experience in generalist HR roles within international or matrix organizations.
- Solid understanding of Swiss labor law.
- Fluent proficiency in both English and French.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in German is considered a significant advantage.
