Michael Page seeks a Senior HR Operations Manager in Lausanne to lead global payroll, HRIS, and compensation processes for a growing international organization.

The company is looking for an experienced professional to oversee global payroll operations and HR systems. This role provides a high-visibility opportunity to drive process improvements and support the organization's rapid expansion through strategic HR management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee global payroll execution in partnership with external vendors, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Serve as the primary contact for payroll inquiries, managing salary changes, bonuses, equity, and social security filings while monitoring vendor service levels.
  • Administer employee benefits by coordinating with external providers to ensure high-quality service and clear communication.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of the global HRIS platform, including data management, onboarding workflows, and performance cycles.
  • Coordinate annual salary reviews, bonus distributions, and equity grants, ensuring data integrity and scalable processes.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT departments to streamline systems and workflows.
  • Manage annual compensation benchmarking using tools like Radford/Aon or WTW, analyzing market trends to provide insights for leadership decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, US regulations, and governance standards for listed companies.
  • Maintain robust documentation and process traceability, support audits, protect confidential data, and identify operational risks to support international growth.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in HR operations, HRIS, payroll management, or related HR functions.
  • Deep expertise in managing multi-country payroll and global HR operations.
  • Proven track record of implementing and optimizing HRIS platforms and HR processes.
  • Strong understanding of HR data governance, compliance, and process controls.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills to interpret and challenge compensation market data.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination capabilities.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong operational discipline and execution skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving international environments with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong systems orientation and enthusiasm for leveraging digital tools and automation to improve HR operations.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to compensation benchmarking tools and methodologies, ideally with Radford/Aon or similar providers.
  • Experience working within a regulated, listed, or highly controlled environment is strongly preferred.
