Revolution Medicines seeks a Senior Manager, People Operations, Europe to build and scale HR infrastructure, focusing on payroll, benefits, and operational compliance across multiple European countries.
This position is central to establishing the HR operational backbone for the European region. The incumbent will lead the implementation of core processes, with an immediate priority on setting up payroll and benefits frameworks. The role requires a hands-on approach to scaling these systems while ensuring alignment with global standards and local legal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end HR operational workflows across Europe, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee data maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align regional processes with global standards while respecting local nuances.
- Prepare for new country expansions by coordinating with HR, Finance, Legal, and global teams to ensure operational readiness.
- Oversee the execution of local HR infrastructure in partnership with Finance and global People functions.
- Implement country-specific benefits programs by working with regional stakeholders, global Total Rewards, Finance, and external brokers.
- Coordinate between payroll, benefits, Finance, and global teams to ensure accurate and compliant operations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for European employees regarding HR operational matters.
- Ensure all HR operational frameworks comply with local and global standards through close partnership with HR, Legal, and Finance.
- Maintain documentation, contracts, and employee records that meet both local regulations and global benchmarks.
- Support the deployment of new systems by ensuring European requirements are prioritized and incorporated into global designs.
- Partner with global system owners to validate that country-specific needs are addressed in system architecture.
- Conduct user acceptance testing, data validation, and go-live readiness activities for European markets alongside global teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience implementing HR operations, payroll, and benefits infrastructure across multiple European nations.
- Deep understanding of European labor law and practical knowledge of regional employment practices.
- Proven ability to work in matrixed, cross-functional environments with global stakeholders.
- Experience operating within fast-growing or scaling organizations.
- Fluent proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in the build phase of scaling organizations.
- Proficiency in languages other than English.
