IAM Support Specialist

EFG International seeks an IAM Support Specialist in Geneva to manage compliance workflows, KYC lifecycle events, and administrative support for client relationship teams.

This position acts as the primary liaison for Client Relationship Officers and Account Managers, handling critical workflows such as payment approvals and account openings. The specialist ensures high standards in compliance and quality assurance while supporting the Head of IAM Switzerland in business development and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily administrative assistance to Client Relationship Officers and Account Managers.
• Serve as the central contact for pre-approval and approval processes regarding payments, credits, and client account openings or closures.
• Evaluate the quality of client profiles and documentation during onboarding and periodic reviews.
• Conduct ex-ante controls for Private Banking activities and help strengthen the control framework.
• Manage KYC lifecycle events, including reviewing and providing feedback on Client Information Profiles.
• Track compliance status and follow up on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) issues.
• Facilitate communication between the First and Second Lines of Defence to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Assist the Head of IAM Switzerland with business development, analysis, and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Participate in the ongoing refinement of IAM Switzerland’s internal processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in regulatory compliance or private banking.
• Deep understanding of AML regulations and sanctions frameworks.
• Fluent proficiency in English.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Keen analytical mindset with a high attention to detail.
• Competent skills in Microsoft Excel.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of German is considered an advantage.
• Proficiency in French and/or Italian is viewed as a beneficial asset.
