ICT Application Engineer

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks an ICT Application Engineer in Olten to manage SAP systems, support S/4 HANA implementation, and optimize business processes through technical customization and stakeholder collaboration.

This position serves as the primary application owner for designated systems, playing a key role in the transition to S/4 HANA. The engineer will bridge technical solutions with business needs, ensuring that internal processes are streamlined and that new technologies are effectively integrated into the digital workflow.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions for user requests originating from the SAP Change Management environment, collaborating closely with specialist departments.
• Analyze and refine system configurations (customizing) to enhance process efficiency and ensure high levels of internal customer satisfaction.
• Oversee daily operations and monitoring tasks within the SAP landscape.
• Act as the liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors to align technical deliverables.
• Assist the SAP team in planning and executing release updates and system changes.
• Manage the full lifecycle of application testing, including the creation, execution, and documentation of test scenarios.

Requirements

• A completed vocational qualification combined with several years of professional experience in the IT industry.
• Proven background as an application engineer within the SAP ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with customizing in PLM modules, specifically SD, CRM, and C4C.
• Fluent proficiency in both German and English for effective communication.
