Senior Application Integration Developer

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a Senior Application Integration Developer in Luzern to design and build system interfaces using SAP cloud tools and modern API frameworks.

This position focuses on analyzing integration requirements and creating technical solutions that connect core enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and PLM/PDM platforms. The role also involves shaping the broader integration strategy and mentoring junior team members to ensure high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate integration requirements and architect appropriate technical solutions.
• Build interfaces that link ERP, CRM, PLM/PDM, and MDM systems.
• Work with internal stakeholders to solve complex technical issues.
• Create and maintain documentation for solution architectures.
• Enhance the performance and reliability of existing integrations.
• Provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues.
• Participate in defining the overall integration strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years of experience in application and data integration.
• Proven hands-on expertise with SAP’s cloud integration suite.
• Solid background in API management.
• Experience connecting to SAP S/4HANA systems.
• Deep understanding of ODATA services.
• Strong grasp of event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of master-data interfaces.
• Familiarity with integrating CRM and product-data systems.
• Proficiency with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, or similar technologies.
• Fluent English communication skills.
