Genedata seeks a Mid-level Industrialization Manufacturing Engineer for an onsite role in Grens, CH. The position involves leading industrialization efforts for manufacturing lines, equipment, and processes, reporting to the Senior Manager, MFG & Project MFG.
The Industrialization Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for executing all industrialization activities related to manufacturing lines, equipment, processes, and injection tooling. This role is part of the Manufacturing Team in Grens and requires on-site presence, reporting to the Senior Manager, MFG & Project MFG.
Responsibilities
- Prepare User Requirement Specifications (URS) in collaboration with local and global process owners.
- Lead full industrialization setup for molds, manufacturing lines, and equipment, including routing, work instructions, standard work, maintainability, EHS compliance, process validation, equipment qualification, and risk analysis using pFMEA.
- Own long-term actions to support manufacturing routines and production, especially on critical topics.
- Identify suppliers in coordination with sourcing, manage from RFQ to onboarding, and oversee FAT/SAT and delivery.
- Manage full change control processes, including drafting and tracking until closure.
- Oversee planning and budget execution for project-defined scopes.
- Collaborate and communicate with associates across functions including MPL, QC, QA, Production, Manufacturing Routine, Maintenance, R&D, and EHS, as well as global teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field, or High School diploma with substantial production or engineering experience.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven ability to identify and implement best practices.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, flexible, results-driven, and motivated by achievement.
- Fluent in both French and English.
Nice to have
- Experience in regulated industries such as Life Sciences, Automotive, or Aerospace.
- Strong background in industrialization processes or product development.
- Familiarity with qualification and validation activities, such as the V-cycle.
