Roche seeks an Intern in MSAT Process Engineering to support Sensor & Cartridge Operations, focusing on digital transformation via the RAW2 system and routine product care in Rotkreuz.
This internship sits within the Manufacturing Science & Technology team under Sensor & Cartridge Operations. The position blends standard product maintenance with the migration of production records into the RAW2 digital environment, effectively bridging process engineering with digital transformation efforts for Roche Blood Gas and Electrolyte products.
Responsibilities
- Manage non-conformity reports, conduct investigations, and identify root causes.
- Coordinate corrective actions and implement necessary changes within the manufacturing workflow.
- Act as a subject matter expert to support production operators.
- Track production metrics and analyze key performance indicators.
- Migrate manufacturing and quality control protocols from paper and Excel into the RAW2 electronic system.
- Facilitate data transfer and manage GxP change management procedures.
- Develop testing checklists for documentation purposes.
- Review workflows to remove unnecessary steps and streamline the RAW2 migration.
- Record project insights and new workflows in Wiki articles.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program, or graduated within the past year.
- Degree in life sciences, chemistry, process engineering, biotechnology, applied informatics, or a related discipline.
- Fluency in both English and German.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- High interest in digital workflows and tools.
- Strategic thinking with a strong sense of ownership over timelines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to precise documentation.
- Understanding and adherence to GDP and GMP guidelines.
