Global MSAT DP Strategic Technical Integrator

Roche seeks a Senior Global MSAT DP Strategic Technical Integrator in Basel to lead complex technology deployments, ensure product health, and drive manufacturing innovation across its global network.

This position functions as a critical technical integrator within Roche’s global manufacturing operations. The role is responsible for orchestrating high-stakes technology implementations, ensuring the robustness and compliance of the commercial portfolio, and serving as a decisive leader for manufacturing innovations.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end technology deployments, guiding projects from initial concept through to full operational readiness.
• Provide technical guidance on Technical Product Health to maintain system reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Overcome intricate technical obstacles and coordinate dependencies among CAPEX engineering, production teams, IT, and site leadership.
• Spearhead the adoption of process-centric robotics, automation solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Apply data analytics and AI/ML techniques to convert complex datasets into practical operational enhancements.
• Serve as a change agent by promoting new methodologies and influencing organizational culture to support strategic shifts.
• Establish clear success metrics and evaluate the technical effectiveness of solutions after implementation.

Requirements

• PhD in a scientific or engineering field combined with over a decade of industrial experience.
• Demonstrated track record in strategic execution and technical leadership within Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) settings.
• Extensive expertise in end-to-end sterile drug product (DP) technology.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Annex 1 guidelines and ICH requirements.
• Strong technical background in robotics, automation, and digital manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to utilize data analytics and AI/ML for deriving strategic technical insights.
• Outstanding project management capabilities.
